Well, I avoided venturing out into the world of blogging for too long. In the past I read the blogs of others, rapt with the idea that I was salaciously privy to their secrets. However, this pleasure was tempered. Like reading the diary of my younger sister as a teenager, I loved the access. Like the teenage version of myself post-read, I felt surprisingly guilty. What is one guilt-laden pre-blogger to do to atone? Why, begin her own blog and knowingly allow others access to such information as would be kept in a personal diary! The Catholic in me loves the idea of reconciliation and penance.
Here goes...
So a little about me: I wear many hats. I'm an ESL teacher, a consummate student, a lovable neurotic, an avid jogger, a three-Marlboro-lights-a-day smoker, a reader, a writer, a curly-haired-5'2"-tattooed recovering Catholic... you know, your average girl-next-door type.
I shall expound on these points later.
